History

Bonardo Travel Retail was created in 1996 by Alain Bonardo, one of the pioneers of the duty free industry.

 

 

During all these years, Bonardo Travel Retail has always been associated with premium quality Swiss chocolate in the travel retail business.

 

 

The Company has promoted and represented some of the major confectionery brands from Switzerland, for example Frey, Swiss Delice, Villars, Maestrani, Ricola.

 

 

At the beginning of 2007, Chocolat Frey, N°1 in Switzerland, decided to team up again with Bonardo Travel Retail.

 

 

BTR is also exclusively representing “Villars Maître Chocolatier” for the worldwide travel retail market and Ricola for Asia.
